A couple of competitors? Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes teased that they might be part of the cast of season 30 of Dancing With the Stars.
“BIIIIIG # DWTS news is coming soon !!!” Robert Mills, the executive vice president of Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment at Walt Disney Television, tweeted Thursday, August 26th.
However, it was the 31-year-old Canadian’s reaction that raised his eyebrows. “I can’t wait to be on this stage,” he replied next to a dancing emoji.
Mills then shared Moynes’ post, adding, “Blake Moynes. The wildlife manager kept the thread going and wrote, “Ahhh st.”
Thurston, 30, stepped in as well, hinting at her own potential engagement in the coming season. “Technically, DWTS didn’t send him this NDA so I think he can be fine!” she said to Mills, clinging to a laughing emoji.
The season 17 bachelorette also weighed the possibility of slipping into her dancing shoes via Instagram. “When people ask me about @dancingabc – July 2020 (via TikTok). Same mood, ”she captioned a review video of herself trying to learn some moves.
In the clip, she told her followers: “I’m doing you a favor by not dancing on my channel. … Look at that. I just went from being a hot girl to being a really unattractive girl in bed. “
Thurston wouldn’t be the first Bachelor Nation lead to compete on Dancing With the Stars. In fact, the last two seasons winners were former Bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Hannah Brown.
Whether or not they join the ABC series at the end, the former bank marketing manager and her fiancé are focused on figuring out their next steps as a couple after they got engaged in the Bachelorette Finals that aired earlier this month.
“I don’t think people fully understand what it’s like to date someone from another country and the rules behind it and the visas behind it,” she said on Wednesday, August 25, in a series of Instagram stories- Videos Blake can only be here 60 days before he has to return to Canada, so we really have to watch a lot – and we just haven’t got it – before we can really plan something else. “
Thurston added that she and Moynes are “stalling” all of the “fun legal stuff” that comes with their international engagement.
As for Dancing With the Stars, ABC announced JoJo Siwa and Sunisa “Suni” Lee as the first contestant for season 30 on Thursday. The 18-year-old Dance Moms alum will be the only competitor to make history to ever have a same-sex partner.
